Gosana stands for Good Samaritan Nature and Culture Reserve whose construction started in 2007. It is situated at Bofa, near Kilifi Bay Hotel.
This reclaimed quarry is historic in that it provided ballast for the construction of Kilifi County Hospital in the 1940s and the construction of the Kilifi-Malindi highway around the same time.
It is 4 acres in area and rich in Neem tree population among other indigenous trees. The visionary of the Reserve is equally the founder of Good Samaritan Vision a great expanse of 14.5 acres with park reserve. The school and reserve, therefore, are anticipated to generate enough income to run
the orphanage as it grows in size and strength.
Within the Nature and Culture Reserve, there are traditional houses built of local material that cater for accommodation for visitors on the site.
Each tastefully-appointed traditional house features a Mijikenda-inspired, hand-painted or thatched wall fresco, king-sized bed or luxurious twins, lavish all-encompassing mosquito-curtaining, bathroom(with walk-in shower), writing/vanity unit, and a private veranda.
Enjoy our expanded complimentary cultural continental accommodation and breakfast. Our friendly and professional staff invites you to come and enjoy the values of staying with Gosana Nature and Cultural Park
Within the Nature and cultural reserve, there is a cultural restaurant that caters to visitors on the site. Traditional and cultural foods are prepared and served to visitors besides cold drinks and seafood.
The park is populated with small wild animals and birds. You will be able to see gazelles, dick dicks among others moving around as you take your meals or drinks at the cultural restaurant.
